DSIG pursues multiple avenues in identifying quality candidates, including screening current staff members and reviewing other contractors to support us in a subcontractor role. We screen potential new employees based on their education, experience and references. We begin with creating a skills requirement matrix that identifies the key skills and years of experience required for each role and compare it to the candidate’s background. We have also found that looking for keywords is insufficient when reviewing potential resumes. Therefore, we also examine the resume in full, check the context of keywords found and ensure the resume is personalized. If a candidate appears qualified, then a phone, video screening, or face-to-face interview is conducted to ensure they match their resume while getting a feel of their personality and work ethic. This screening process has enabled DSIG to identify highly skilled, qualified candidates to meet our clients’ goals and objectives.
